Social media has been around for over two decades, but up until the past few years, brands have not known how to use it to its full potential. However, as more and more companies learn about the value of social media, it is becoming a priority for marketers.
Social media is a wildly effective tool for brands to establish themselves with customers while building brand recognition, reputation, and engaging with these customers in real-time. Research shows that the brands that have an active presence on social media can establish trust and work their way into the daily routines of their customers.
To no surprise, brands need to build customer loyalty to succeed. Creating close connections with consumers helps them see the brand as a reliable and trustworthy source. Social media serves as the perfect tool to increase customer engagement and create personal connections.
Through social media, brands can individually reach out to their target audience. The personal connection this created comes as a far less expensive option than traditional methods of offline marketing.

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 60’s, Tom developed a strong desire to create positive change for people and planet.
He went on to pursue his passion for art and design at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and worked for design firms in Southern California before moving to Boise, Idaho in the early 80’s. Foerstel Design opened its doors in 1985. Since its inception, the firm has cultivated a bold, happy, forward-looking team focussed on creating distinct and effective work on behalf of their clients.
An integral part of Tom’s philosophy is giving back to the community in which he lives — a company cornerstone that drives Foerstel’s long history of providing pro-bono services to local non-profit humanitarian and arts programs.
One of Tom’s proudest personal achievements is his ability to say Supercalifragilisticexpyalidocious backwards.
