Write About Topics That Your Audience Cares About

The first step in your blog optimization process is researching the topics your target audience is interested in. Start this research by thinking about the most commonly asked questions people ask about your business. Then, you can look through past documents or emails for inspiration to get you started.

Create Compelling And Descriptive Article Titles

A strong title does not have to be extremely clever or funny. You should avoid clickbait terms and language altogether. One way to create a great title is to be as descriptive as possible without sounding automated or boring. The audience wants to know exactly what to expect before they spend any time reading your blog. Strong titles are also shown to help increase your blog’s click-through rate, especially if the title is the same as the question the reader placed in search.

Put Out Relevant Content

Including internal links and recommendations within your blog posting is a great way to keep readers on your page. You can achieve this by having a dynamic system built to pull up relevant articles that the reader may be interested in based on the article they are currently reading.

Focus On Delivering Comprehensive Information

A comprehensive blog post is long in form, detailed, and has relevant internal and external links. Ensuring that your posts are comprehensive, based on these standards, will be pleasing not only to the reader but also to the search engine.

Be A One-Stop Shop For Your Visitor

To become a one-stop shop for your reader, you must be thorough in your blog postings. Answering any related questions a reader may have about a particular subject is a great way to ensure they do not look elsewhere for additional information. Once you have an established blog posting that has sufficient answers, it is more likely that your article will be linked on other sites, which will help your backlink strategy.

Prioritize User Experience

Google ranks websites that have an overall strong user experience. Visitors will not stay on your site if you are not intentional about its functionality and usability of it. The three user experience elements you need to prioritize include:

  1. Quick load times
  2. Mobile responsiveness
  3. Accessibility
