October is Women-Owned Business Month, and as a proudly woman-owned design and marketing agency, we’re taking this moment to celebrate the powerful, creative, and visionary women who are building businesses and breaking barriers.
According to Adweek, out of 14,000 U.S. ad agencies, fewer than 1% are owned by women, while a Forbes article cites that “the number of agencies with female creative directors (about 3%) also constitutes an abysmal minority.” But what did the women-owned business landscape look like in the past, and how far has it come?
