Web Designer

(Contract-Based with Option for Full-Time)

This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with our web developers, ensuring seamless integration of design and functionality.

We are seeking a Web Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for creating engaging and intuitive web layouts that enhance the user experience (UX). Your designs will serve as the foundation for our web developers to transform into functional websites. The ideal candidate is passionate about combining aesthetics and usability, possesses a keen eye for detail, and understands the importance of creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and goals.
• Design visually appealing web layouts that align with the brand identity and target audience.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Develop a deep understanding of user needs and incorporate UX best practices into design solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration of design elements with web development, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Conduct usability tests and gather feedback to iterate and refine design solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design methodologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

What you’ll need

• Proven experience as a Web Designer or related role, showcasing a strong portfolio of web design projects.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.).
• Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong visual design skills with an ability to create cohesive and visually impactful layouts.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet project deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Job Specifics

• This position is contract-based with the option of transitioning to a regular full-time role after a trial period. The contract duration and terms will be discussed during the hiring process.
