As a creative design agency, we often try to utilize our creative minds for things other than amazing package designs and cleverly constructed websites and ads. We decided that we would design “killer sandwiches” today instead of the doing the normal run of the mill lunch options. Everyone brought in
…the 21st night of September? If you remember that song by Earth, Wind & Fire, then you may even remember some of these “essential” graphic design tools. (I’m really dating myself now.) During our recent move, I found these in the black hole of my desk. I just couldn’t bring
They say of the spring weather in Idaho, “if you don’t like it, wait 5 minutes”. I can verify this is true as days here currently can be comprised of rain, snow, sun, sleet, wind–you name it. Those brief moments of sun get me excited about gardening so when I

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 60’s, Tom developed a strong desire to create positive change for people and planet.
He went on to pursue his passion for art and design at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and worked for design firms in Southern California before moving to Boise, Idaho in the early 80’s. Foerstel Design opened its doors in 1985. Since its inception, the firm has cultivated a bold, happy, forward-looking team focussed on creating distinct and effective work on behalf of their clients.
An integral part of Tom’s philosophy is giving back to the community in which he lives — a company cornerstone that drives Foerstel’s long history of providing pro-bono services to local non-profit humanitarian and arts programs.
One of Tom’s proudest personal achievements is his ability to say Supercalifragilisticexpyalidocious backwards.
