Pickup trucks seem to be stretched, twisted and turned in UK-based artist Chris LaBrooy‘s ‘Tales of Auto Elasticity’ series, which depicts vibrantly colored cars in strangely distorted situations. The manipulations introduce utilitarian vehicles into the digital realm, warped into elastic compositions and set within abandoned parking lots. Interlocking fords and neon-clad cruisers launch off of each other, fold over themselves and corkscrew in the air, forming a oddly proportioned universe of unrecognizable vehicles.
The series follows LaBrooy’s first experiments with virtual automobile shapes titled ‘Auto Aerobics’, which you can see in our gallery below.
