Gen Z is notorious for their ability to gather and share information. They also tend to be adamant about checking the facts they read online to be sure they are correct. This generation’s desire to be involved and proactive can make them feel responsible for sharing important information. As a business targeting Gen Z, it is important to provide adequate facts to back up your claims. Educating your audience is a great way to help gain trust and authority.
Although Gen Z has been raised surrounded by technology, a majority of interviewees admit to being completely afraid of the advancement of AI. Many times, the advancement of technology, especially AI, can be seen as something that could be detrimental to humanity. Although this generation is deeply connected with technology, they sincerely are a human-centric group of people. Businesses must acknowledge this by buckling down on addressing online security and safety.
One of the most important attributes of Gen Z is their bandwidth to care deeply. This generation feels called to fight and take action against significant issues such as climate change and inequality. Businesses need to voice the steps they are taking to join in combating these issues that are important to their audience.

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 60’s, Tom developed a strong desire to create positive change for people and planet.
He went on to pursue his passion for art and design at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and worked for design firms in Southern California before moving to Boise, Idaho in the early 80’s. Foerstel Design opened its doors in 1985. Since its inception, the firm has cultivated a bold, happy, forward-looking team focussed on creating distinct and effective work on behalf of their clients.
An integral part of Tom’s philosophy is giving back to the community in which he lives — a company cornerstone that drives Foerstel’s long history of providing pro-bono services to local non-profit humanitarian and arts programs.
One of Tom’s proudest personal achievements is his ability to say Supercalifragilisticexpyalidocious backwards.
