deliciously tiny

4801
A childhood spent playing with dollhouses may be familiar to many but Japanese artist Tomo Tanaka creates the crème de la crème when it comes to miniatures. The truly tiny cuisine is crafted so accurately that it still appears delicious. Using clay and epoxy, the artist has created everything from high-end Parisian treats to thin crust pizzas and fries.
Tanaka shows off just how small his creations are by photographing them on his fingertips. Creating items for the fictional ‘Nunu’s House’, the artist’s work is incredibly realistic, taking food photography to a new level and undoubtedly making a number of caterers envious. His unique expertise and talent has led to two published books and he even teaches courses on the subject!
