Good Karma Brand and Packaging Redesign

Today Good Karma (GK) leads the flaxmilk, non-dairy industry and they have been consistently making a name for themselves with their plant-based, dairy-free foods. Back in 2016, GK was looking to relaunch and rebrand to communicate the optimism behind their mission. Who better to help lead the charge than the creatives at Foerstel?

The Old Design

The old branding and product design, while clean and fresh, didn't convey the positivity and vibrant flavor that Good Karma wanted customers to embrace.

The New Design

Foerstel's new branding and packaging pops off the shelf! The colors and forms are distinct and approachable, and key ingredient and nutrient callouts keep shoppers informed.

Every product is created to make the market (and the world) a better place, and we were excited to find the best way to communicate that. Amid countless sketches and concepts, the smiling and inviting logotype stuck out to us.

We were inspired by the look, Good Karma loved the message, and customers saw the logo and knew it wasn’t just another dairy alternative. But GK didn’t want to stop with a new coat of paint. To push the industry further and their message farther, they launched their probiotic drink line featuring Foerstel’s design work.

The expansion and redesign of the brand were a smashing success and we were excited to see GK’s products with our branding and design take hold in stores nationwide. More recently, we were excited to help launch a new product line – non-dairy yogurts and dips – which you might see at your local Costco. The packaging and logo is sure to catch your eye and, who knows, you might find a new favorite snack in the line to boot.

Good Karma is always pushing to give stores and customers the best options on the shelf, from probiotic drinks to plant-based yogurts. They’re proud to give the world more ways to be nutritious and healthy and Foerstel is proud to work to translate that powerful mission into creative and fresh design.
