Automation is continuing to gain speed in the web development world aided by many different platforms created to help automate certain areas within the development process. Some of these automation tools include:
One of the most significant benefits of automation in web development is the efficiency it brings to streamline this process. Developers can free up some time by automating repetitive tasks that would take additional time. Because of this, developers can turn projects around quicker and more efficiently.
Another benefit that comes with automation in web development is that there is less room for human error. Automating the testing process is a great example of something that can be done more efficiently and proven to eliminate error that may occur if a person was to go through the same process.
Automation has played a large role in how web applications are designed, tested, and implemented. Overall, using automation streamlines the process for developers and opens up room for the development and operations teams to collaborate.
One of the biggest challenges with automation is finding the balance with human oversight. Web developers must be heavily involved in the development process so that the final product remains high quality. Another challenge that comes with automation is the sharp learning curve. Many of these platforms are complex and require a trained expert to use them effectively.
Automation is not going away and will only become a more integral piece in the web development process. As technology advances, developers need to stay on top of the ways and areas they can automate their processes to remain successful. Artificial intelligence is just one example of an area within the automation sector that will certainly continue to evolve.
