In a 1947 issue of Life Magazine, 10 comic strip artists were invited to draw their respective characters blindfolded. The results? Not too bad, if we do say so ourselves! Bill Freyse’s Major Hoople, Chester Gould’s Dick Tracy, and Zack Mosley’s Smilin’ Jack, all were quite accurate. The others, on the other hand, looked like Picasso paintings with each character’s features beautifully jumbled all over the place!
