petal shells

For the average person who may start to get bored of the standard way of planting a flower seed, there is now another (more violent) way; introducing the Flower Shell. The standard 12-gauge shotgun shell is designed to be filled with wildflower seeds, allowing you to fire flower seeds with a shotgun. Upon firing a flower shell, the seeds will be dispersed into the soil, resulting in a garden full of wildflowers.
The idea behind this particular venture designed by Scandinavian creativity lab Studio Total is to reinvent the idea of the dangers of a violent object and to display a new, creative way to use these dangerous shotguns. “Instead of less life, more life,” says its package. The shells are currently available in Columbine, Cornflower, Daisy, Poppy, Sunflower, Clematis, Lavender, Sweet Pea, Lupine, Carnation, Peony and more.
