Street artist Marina Zumi was enlisted to transform a building in Germany as part of the ‘All You Can Paint’ Festival, which aims to brighten up the streets with graffiti. Due to the size of the building and the number of windows, Zumi was a bit unsure what to do until the idea of bees popped into her mind.
Creating a beautiful honeycomb design, the artist used rainbow colors to represent a variety of personalities. And each of the eleven bees characterizes a member of the AYCP organization. Now the building is known as the ‘Honeycomb of Life’ and certainly stands out against the rest of the street. The artist has lovingly named the building’s inhabitants ‘bee people’ too.
