I was asked to speak on a radio program called “Meet the Planet” out of San Francisco earlier this week. The topic was one very close to my heart – Organics! We talked about the importance of supporting organic agriculture and the true value of being an organic consumer. We covered a lot of ground in a short time, including the details of organic labeling, organic vs. local, and the health benefits of eating organically. A big plus for me was the opportunity to promote the informational web site we developed and sponsor, organic.org, which is a wonderful resource for anyone who is new to organics and would like to learn more. The show will air sometime in August, so look for another post that will provide an opportunity to hear the interview.
