Enjoy a collection of musings, deep thoughts and good times from our crew here at Foerstel.
Last month Foerstel Design participated in the ACHD sponsored May in Motion (MIM) promotion, a program that aims to create awareness for alternative forms of transportation. We are very lucky to live in a cycling community (road bikes, mountain bikes, cruiser bikes) and it isn’t unusual to see morning commuters
The second interview in our series belongs to Linda Whittig. Linda has worked with Foerstel for seventeen years, making her another member of the Foerstel “old school”! Linda specializes in packaging, primarily for food, and is easily distracted by shiny objects. Which explains why she likes glitter so much. This
Here are our humble beginnings of the Foerstel Community Garden. As you may remember, not too long ago, we moved into a building here in the Linen District. The main rehabilitation work has been focused indoors, and now that it is spring, we are excited to turn our efforts outside.

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 60’s, Tom developed a strong desire to create positive change for people and planet.
He went on to pursue his passion for art and design at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and worked for design firms in Southern California before moving to Boise, Idaho in the early 80’s. Foerstel Design opened its doors in 1985. Since its inception, the firm has cultivated a bold, happy, forward-looking team focussed on creating distinct and effective work on behalf of their clients.
An integral part of Tom’s philosophy is giving back to the community in which he lives — a company cornerstone that drives Foerstel’s long history of providing pro-bono services to local non-profit humanitarian and arts programs.
One of Tom’s proudest personal achievements is his ability to say Supercalifragilisticexpyalidocious backwards.
