One of the profoundest things in life: sunsets. One thing that’s more profound than sunsets: looking at a sunset through the reflection of a broken mirror. Very deep stuff. New York-based photographer Bing Wright has captured the beauty of the setting sun as it reflects off of shattered mirrors in a series called ‘Broken Mirror/Evening Sky’.This series is his first time delving into color photography in almost a decade. To create the stained glass art effect, Wright photographs sunsets then reflects the images onto broken mirrors in his studio. He then recaptures the reflection, creating an abstract representation of the original.
