Enjoy a collection of musings, deep thoughts and good times from our crew here at Foerstel.

Artist Christian Jackson boils down classic children’s tales to one simple element. Jackson’s minimalist fairy tale posters tell a story without cramming all sorts of distracting visual details around the title.

Michael Paul Smith’s photos span across decades, showing a quaint American town through the bustling ’20s and into the 1960s. Typefaces, also known as font families like Arial and Garamond, could be the most under-appreciated but powerful art form in existence. Typeface design influences nearly everything we Americans do—from the books we read, to the products we buy, to the food we eat, to the TV we watch, to the

In addition to the hours spent physically bringing new ideas to light, there’s also the countless mental hours spent thinking about problems, generating ideas, and evaluating possible solutions. When we’re over-taxed, we can easily become burnt out from having found the limits of our
